Gwyneth is a well seasoned actress who has appeared in upwards of 50 movies and over 100 television shows. Although acting is Gwyneth main occupation, she does also dabble in singing and modeling. The first time I heard of Gwyneth was when she starred in Shakespeare in Love (1998). It was a real breakout movie for her and she ended up winning an Oscar for best actress for it.

Personally, my favorite Gwyneth Paltrow film would have to be Duets(2000). In this film, Gwyneth plays Liv the daughter of a karaoke hustler (Hughie Lewis). There are many musical numbers where Gwyneth actually sings for real. In my favorite number, Gwyneth and Hughie perform a duet of the classic 1979 Smokey Robinson single "Cruisin.'" Their rendition of "Cruisin" hit number 1 on the Australian, New Zealand, and the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 Adult Contemporary Charts.
